Hello out there!
Just wanted to let you know that we will be moving again! We will be starting our new adventure this winter season to be right there settled in Seoul when the almond and cherry trees will be in bloom. I am so happy this is finally happening! I always wanted to go to Asia but that is really the greatest thing for me now. I've been ordering fabric, craft books, office supplies and last but not leasr dolls from there for a few years now. And now i will finally go and live there for a few years. It is very exiting and I am happy to take you on this adventure.

People who know me won't be that surprised that we will be moving to a big city again. I mean really big. We loved living in Istanbul and Mexico D.F. so much and we hope it will be as great as in these cities. We already started learning a bit of korean but for me it seems 10 times harder than Turkish. But we will manage and also the children are having fun already adopting a new word every day.

I've been looking at Seoul pictures on flickr and elsewhere for a few months now and also followed some bloggers from there and I think I will love this place. ( and yes, as I mentioned before: I love cabbage so having kimchi already for breakfast will not keep me from liking it there!) Please stay tuned to come along with me - I will show you how things are slowly moving here and there

Wow! How exciting! I don't often comment on your blog (but I'm a big fan) but I thought I would pop up to say "All the best" to you & your family. I hope you have a smooth transition to Seoul but having read a little of your history I see you have done the big move a few times and you will cope magnificently!!
I look forward to reading all about it.

Liebe Yvonne,

Another Aussie follower here, not far from Melbourne.
I can't wait to see your take on the Southern Hemisphere.
I'm always in awe of those who can jump in and take such a plunge into a new culture and language let alone with a young family! What takes you to all these amazing places? A whim or work?
