I've been trying to take pictures of my vintage finds from the weekend but the light was so bad that I refrained from doing so. Instead I searched Flickr for some kitchen inspiration - colourwise. It is not that I don't love our kitchen - I really do. But after three years I need a colour change. I loved the dark chocolate brown of the beginning days. Maybe it is also because of the weather (I DO sound my age...) The weather was awful for a while now and I am in need for a colour splash.
One of my favourite places back In Mexico City was the Condesa df Hotel where I spent much time having breakfast with my family or having nice evenings out with my husband. So I am trying to capture this colour to bring it into our momentary home for a while.
So this will be the new colour scheme for the walls and acessories. if you want to see the links, please go here. It is obvious that I now also will have the chance to add some great turquoise-plus-?-potholders, some aprons, tea towels, collages in frames etc. So enough projects for crafty nights. Not to mention the upcoming flea market next Sunday, the nicest one in Hamburg!!!
See you soon and sleep well!

I've just recently change the wall color of our kitchen, turning the light white to taupe, and also thinking to put some turquoise items. I adore how has it turn out, but we have less light and that's because of Geneva's grey sky.... Fortunately spring and summer are better :)
Love your new blog look!

Thank you Eva! Don't be angry about the geneva grey sky. For us here in Northern germany Geneva is like Italy! But I know what you mean, having lived at Lake Constance for 12 years...
