You know I have this thing with colour combinations. I just cannot hang pictures and things on the wall without thinking of a colour scheme. I tried hard to do a multicoloured wall in my craftroom like the gorgeous ones I've seen on Flickr. But I just can't do it and gave up finally. So I go on creating colour-combination walls in our house and this time it was a yellow one.
Luckily there are some walls in the house so I can chose different colours. I already have the green wall in the bathroom and the black and white and blue one in the entrance, remember? The entrance is having a makeover as well - colourwise. It will be black and white and light blue again for the winter time but right now I need some orange there. I am still working so no pictures for now!
And yes, I am officially an Unraveller now because I am taking part in Susannah Conway's Unravelling course. I am so so happy that I got a place this time! It will be an adventurous journey - for sure!
I hope you enjoy the Unravelling course -I sure did! Your home looks just beautiful -the yellow is lovely.

You definetely should teach how to hang art on walls. I'm so afraid to get it wrong that I procrastinate for months. I've been living in my house for almost 3 years and I still have paintings waiting to be hanged..

Thank you Imene, I am flattered. But it really is no problem at all to hang them - When I started hanging things I used Martha Stewart's method: Just make paper templates of the frames you want to hang and arrange them on the walls. Then you can rearrange them again without putting nails or so in the walls. And it is also an easy way to ut hooks in the walls: just directly through the paper and then just rip of the sheet!

I love the way you have arranged the paintings/pictures on the wall. I recently moved in to a much bigger apartment and it's really nice but, it looks so empty. My walls looks naked ;-)

I fell in love with your style since I saw the round window in your house in Mexico and I followed you ever since! Und erst die schönen Mitbringsel aus Türkei in eurem Wohnzimmer... This corner is really lovely, everything in it is. I wrote about Keep Calm poster today on my blog and mentioned yours and posted a photo of it with link to your site...
