Hello my Dearies!
Last week Pauline had her Carnival party at school with the theme of the enchanted forest. As lots of pixies and princesses were expected she refused to turn into one of them. She never has been the princess type. She wanted to be a dwarf like the ones from Snow White.
I love her for being such a fun little girl. it turned out that her best friend at school also turned out to be a dwarf that day: the one you can find in German gardens.
The next day she had an appointment at the hairdresser and dressed up a bit for the indulgence. She suddenly looked so much more grown up and I realized
- that she was wearing my bonnet that day
- and that she turned into a little lady.
My little swan is growing up (she never was an ugly duckling though). You see them every day and suddenly you realize that they are growing up at an enormous pace. And I remebered the sentence I red in "The Happiness Project" as a quote: The days are long, but the years are short! And there are a lot of days when raising three children really wears you out and the days seem so long but then you look at last year's pictures and see how time just flies!
And so I sat there at the hairdresser, relaxed and watched her playing "grown up".
And all the mums of you might know what I mean with this.
A few moments later she was the little girls again making nonsense with her brother
And that felt like there is still so much time at hand for us: being a mom and a little girl...
Have a wonderful start into the week!
I will show you a bit more of my "project life" tomorrow as I will be completing more pages then!
Yvonne

She's a sweetie! I've always wished I'd have a daughter (anxiously waiting for girlfriends to come around ;D!)... although I'm very happy to have those two wonderful boys. Son-mother relationship is probably a bit different than daughter-mother, or what do you think?!

Los chicos son más fuertes y no hablo mucho. Pero voy a tener las novias más adelante como tú!
